FELIPE VIEL

Felipe Viel is a seasoned professional with a diverse background spanning real estate and television hosting. Since January 2020, he has served as a Real Estate Partner at Quest Capital, a self-employed role that builds on his extensive experience in the real estate industry. Before this, Felipe began his real estate career in 2017 as a Real Estate Specialist at Viel & De Guzman, located in Miami, Florida, where he continues to work today.

Felipe’s earlier career was rooted in media and television. He hosted for Estrella TV in Los Angeles from 2012 to 2017, based in Miami. Prior to that, he was a prominent TV Host for Univision Communications from 2003 to 2012. His media career began as an Actor and TV Host at Canal 13 in Chile, where he worked for nine years from 1993 to 2002.

Felipe holds a degree in Advertising from Universidad del Pacífico in Chile, where he studied from 1990 to 1993. His rich background in media and real estate highlights his adaptability and expertise across industries.

TELEVISION CARRER

He began his television career that same year on Canal 13 as a reporter for the programs «La mañana del Trece» with segments on sports and health, and «Viva el lunes» with Cecilia Bolocco, interviewing the most prominent figures in the Latin world.

In 2002, he officially joined the Univision network for its affiliate Telefutura, where he co-hosted the famous magazine show «Escándalo T.V.» with Charytin Goyco and Marisa del Portillo for 10 years. This allowed him to travel extensively across the country, hosting special events for the network and solidifying his status as one of the most recognized Hispanic hosts. Felipe also had special participation in Univision’s sports events, such as hosting «República en el Mundial» and «La Noche del Mundial» during the 2010 South Africa World Cup alongside Don Francisco, attracting audiences of over 8 million people.

Later, he hosted the primetime show «Mi sueño es bailar» alongside Patricia Manterola on the Estrella TV network and was also the host of «Esta noche tu Night.»

Currently, Felipe Viel is one of the most seasoned hosts on Hispanic television in the United States and has received significant recognition: He has been featured on the cover of the prestigious health magazine Men’s Health. He has been awarded by the ACE (Association of Entertainment Critics) as the best Hispanic host.

Considered by People magazine as one of the 10 best-dressed personalities and has been on the list of the 50 most beautiful Latinos. He was invited by Emilio Estefan to the White House during the Hispanic Heritage Day celebration with then-President Bush.
